Winta is a majoring in biology at Ivy Tech and has a future ambition to be a neurologist. She has been an LSAMP tutor and lab assistant since 2022. In 2023, she was selected as an IN LSAMP Summer Research Scholar to conduct research under the mentorship of Dr. Ben Perrin at IUPUI. During the research experience, she studied age-related hearing loss. Winta has her mind set on transferring to IUPUI in 2024 to pursue a bachelor's degree and progress on to medical school.
